My depression has peaks and valleys and some days it is easier to keep my head above water than others. Of late I have been feeling in a dark and dismal place.
I am constantly trying to reassure myself that I do, in fact, have the power to transform my life and that it is not too late to do so.
I am grateful for many things. I feel blessed for many of the people in my life.
But I am struggling.
Tuesday marks a new month and the end of the first 1/3 of 2008.
I need to try harder.
I need to do more.
I need to try and make a fresh start.
I need to start working on creating that brighter tomorrow.
May the Divine guide me and bless me.
Blessings to you and yours

I feel for you. But there is no true Divine unless you know Christ. He takes away the burden of having to try harder. I promise.
Thank you for the thought Vicki. I am sure your faith gives you comfort. However, I do not believe in the concept of their being only one path to the Divine as I beleive with everything in me that God/ess is beyond human limitations of narrowmindedness and bigotry.
I am depressed, not because I am not a Christian, but because there are real issues in my life, hardships and worries. Changing my religion will not change that reality. So thank you for your sympathy, but you may take your prostelytizing elsewhere.
