Inspiration in a Youtube Video - Matt Harding Dances Around the World

I found this video thanks to one of my favorite blogs, 37 days (and have seen it on a few of my other reads as well today). Thank you Patti, it make me smile and added a spot of brightness to my day.  Beyond that though, I was touched and moved by it and reminded at how much of a catalyst for change one human being can be.  Just a note for our readers:

Patti Digh is the author of Life Is a Verb: 37 Days to Wake Up, Be Mindful, and Live Intentionally which is available for pre-purchase now and is coming out in September 2008.  I personally can’t wait to read it, as I already like Ms. DIgh a great deal just from reading her blog.

Back to the video.  Matt Harding (official site) did not shoot these in front of a set or green screen.  He shot in in the location captioned on the video.  His videos (the one above is just the latest installment) have been watched MILLIONS of times and have touched countless lives.  In his own words from his blog:

and the many
will change the one world”

Obviously watching this video makes me want to travel the world.  Obviously it makes me want to go out and do something magnificent.  But then I remember that Matt started by doing a silly little dance with a friend.

The lesson:

The world can be changed by each of us touching the lives of other people in small, and seemingly insignificant, ways.  What silly little dance can I do?  What can you do?  What can WE do to change the world?
